Investor Loans (non-owner occupant).
Since October of 1996, HUD has placed a moratorium on 203K investor
loans due to the abuse of the program. It is not clear if and when this
loan may come back. However, in the meantime, Ms. Teegarden does have purchase/rehab
loans for investors. The main difference is that the current loans require
a slightly higher down payments. They are ranging from 15% down to 30%
down depending on the situation (case-by-case basis). Down payment percents
are always calculated on purchase price plus the total rehab costs.
